All about the organization > What makes the competition unique? It is the only ISO certified competition The Concours de Bordeaux - Vins d'Aquitaine is the only wine competition to be certified ISO 9001 - version 2000 for its organizational and promotional qualities, which were judged effective and competent by an independent certification body. This recognition highlights and rewards the organization for its rigorousness. It gives producers the opportunity to compete with one another. Samples are taken from the competitors’ property by the organizations’ trained and approved agents. A computerised judging system. Blind tastings are only performed by wine and vine professionals and keen connoisseurs. Results are obtained via a computerized analysis. Prizes are awarded just two hours after tasting ends.
