Bordeaux-Aquitaine : world wine tasting capital en 2008 !

A unique event will be happening on the international wine scene in 2008 –
3 major wine competitions will be taking place during the same period (April-May) and in the same place (Bordeaux-Aquitaine):
- the Challenge International du Vin, on Saturday, the 12th of April in Bourg-sur-Gironde
- the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, on the 18th, 19th and 20th of April in Bordeaux
- the Concours de Bordeaux-Vins d’Aquitaine, on Saturday, the 10th of May in Bordeaux

This is why the three competitions, in conjunction with the CRVA (Conseil Régional des Vins d’Aquitaine), are launching the B TOGETHER operation, whose purpose is to inform everyone affiliated with the wine industry of these various competitions taking place at approximately the same time.

This joint effort entails:
- organising 2 press conferences, one in Bordeaux on the 4th of December 2007, the other in Paris on the 5th of December 2007.
- an agreement by all 3 competitions to communicate on behalf of the others with regard to both wine producers and tasters.
- creating a blog presenting the special features and complementary nature of each of the 3 competitions in order to help participants make their choice: http://btogether.over-blog.com

These three competitions will bring together over 15,000 wines from nearly 50 countries, as well as more than 2,000 tasters to the Bordeaux region!
